Dressage league

Well, the last two sundays saw the last two weeks of the dressage league. Today was originally meant to be the final of the showjumping league, but it has been swapped around because there is a regional showjumping event tomorrow. This doesn't make sense to me, as I would of thought people would like to get a showjumping round in before the regional event. Last week I was assigned a relatively new horse to the yard (Max), and the warm up didn't go terribly well. Max was falling in very badly in the canter. (essentially he was doing motorbike turns, which is not good on a horse). I was seriously concerned that he might slip and fall under me, so did my best to stop him falling in. However, he woke up when we went into the dressage arena. He obviously has a competitive instinct, and we did a decent test and ended up finishing 4th.
Today, I had Teachai, and we ended up doing a very nice test and we ended up winning, and I even got two 8's (10 being the maximum score that can be awarded for any one movement).
