Pokerswat training site

I saw that BoylePoker were giving away 1 year subscriptions to the Pokerswat traning site. I sent away an email with a few details about my poker and abilities at the table and was delighted to be selected. My side of the bargain is to tell pokerswat what I think about the site, and give both the good points and the bad points.

I started off by reading some of the articles on the site. I then watched a video of Marty Smyth playing $1,$2 PLO(Pot Limit Omaha).

Tonight I watched 2 videos of HectorJelly's on 6 max cash games. The first video was really just a run through of the basic rules of the games, and the importance of position, plus what hands to play in what position.

The second video was 5c/10c 6 max cash. I was playing 2c/4c cash on DTD at the same time , trying to use the concepts. My problem at this level used to be overaggression, which cost me a small fortune. I lost a Buy-in with KK when I called a massive overbet shove on a straightening flop (which was with top 2 pair) which housed up on the turn.
I slowly began applying the concepts and eventually left with a small profit. It would have been more, but I put in a reraise with an A hearts on a flop with 3 hearts, and didn't get there.

While Hector was saying you should try and take down the pots with raises , this was sometimes very difficult, as folding was not something high in the priority of my opponents.
They would stay in with any draw or any part of the flop, So it was a case of value betting my good hands and only drawing if it was relatively cheap to do so.

My intention is to take the time to improve my game (particularly cash)
